What is this "Fancy Spider Music Festival?" The Fancy Spider Music Festival is a 3-day, multi-genre music (and broader art/comedy/wellness) festival, taking place in various venues around downtown Trinidad, Colorado. 2025 is the inaugural year of the fest. FSMF is brought to you by some of the folks behind Denver's Hi-Dive, Trinidad's 'Dad Lounge, and the much beloved and fondly remembered Honky-Tonk Hodgepodge in Cold Beer, NM. As the venues for FSMF are all already active & existing event spaces, there will be no street closures during the festival. Where is it? Official/pass required festival stages are Trinidad Lounge (421 N. Commercial St.), The Stockhouse at The Marketplace (326 N. Commercial St.), Sister Blandina Wellness Gardens (225 N. Commercial St.), Space To Create (204 W. Main St.), and The Well Hotel & Taproom (155 E. Main St.). Map below... ![]() When exactly is it? October 10th-12th, 2025. Music will begin at around 5pm on that Friday night and go until about midnight (only Trinidad Lounge and The Well after 10pm), then it will start back up midday Saturday and go until about midnight again (only Trinidad Lounge and The Well after 10pm), and finally Sunday from the early afternoon until the early evening. Live music will be going down in several different venues at the same time, so plan accordingly when the final schedule is released, about a month before the fest. Who is performing? You may view the full lineup here and the festival poster here. How do I get festival passes? 3-day all access passes are on sale now right here. If we have not sold out of all access 3-day passes, hitting the fest's capacity, we will offer single day passes when the final schedule is announced (about a month before the fest). Printed tickets are not necessary. Once you purchase a pass/passes, the purchaser's name will be automatically added to our will call. You'll want to make Space To Create (204 W. Main St.) your first visit when you arrive at the festival to grab your wristband(s). Is it all ages? The majority of the official (pass required) and unofficial (pass not required) stages will be all ages, though any "Tavern" licensed venues will remain 21+ throughout the festival, as mandated by our City Charter. You mentioned "unofficial"/no pass required stages? Yes! If you do not wish to purchase a pass, there will still be lots of music and fun all around downtown to enjoy, with day parties and showcases occurring in many of our city's great establishments. If you want to make sure you absolutely don't miss a band listed on the lineup, though, buy a pass and get access to the whole shebang! Where do I park? If you're staying near downtown, it's best to leave your car and walk or bike to the fest, if you are able. We'll be working both with the city itself and downtown businesses with ample parking to provide all the space we can. Check back here for updates on that. Is the fest wheelchair friendly? Yes! All venues are wheelchair accessible with plenty of ADA compliant restrooms throughout. Can I bring my dog/cat/marmot? For the safety of the animals and your fellow fest-goers, we ask that you only bring certified service companions into our official venues. What's the broader "art/comedy/wellness" part all about? Along with music, the fest will boast comedy showcases, yoga in the park, guided bicycle rides, and lots of info about nearby hikes and potential tarantula spotting (the fest occurs during Tarantula Migration Season around here, hence "Fancy Spider"). Our friends at CREATE Trinidad (Trinidad's Creative District) are organizing a widely collaborative art show in various galleries to coincide and thematically overlap with FSMF.
